How to Send The Events Calendar Data to Teamleader
Teamleader is a business management platform. If you want The Events Calendar event synced to Teamleader, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-event fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with The Events Calendar installed and configured.
- A Teamleader account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Teamleader to AFI
Teamleader uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamleader, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it The Events Calendar to Teamleader.
2. Pick your trigger
Select The Events Calendar as the form provider. AFI fires when an event RSVP or ticket order is submitted, giving you access to attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total.
3. Select Teamleader as the destination
Choose Teamleader from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Teamleader.
4. Map fields
Match each Teamleader field on the left to the corresponding The Events Calendar field on the right. Common mappings include attendee name, email, event title, event date, ticket type, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in The Events Calendar. Check Teamleader to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Teamleader with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
