How to Send SureCart Orders to Mailchimp

Mailchimp is a platform platform. If you want SureCart orders synced to Mailchimp, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
• A Mailchimp account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Mailchimp to AFI

Mailchimp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Mailchimp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Mailchimp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Mailchimp as the destination

Choose Mailchimp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Mailchimp.

4. Map fields

Match each Mailchimp field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Mailchimp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
