How to Send SureCart Orders to Kit
Kit is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. SureCart handles a checkout or order is completed on your WordPress site. Kit is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-order fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
- A Kit account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Kit to AFI
- Log in to your Kit account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Kit.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Kit.
2. Pick your trigger
Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Kit as the destination
Choose Kit from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Kit.
4. Map fields
Match each Kit field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Kit to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Kit with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and tag selection. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which SureCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
