Google Tasks is a task management platform. Here is how to pipe SureCart order data straight into Google Tasks using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Google Tasks. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
  • A Google Tasks account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Google Tasks to AFI

Google Tasks uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Google Tasks, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Google Tasks.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Google Tasks as the destination

Choose Google Tasks from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Google Tasks.

4. Map fields

Match each Google Tasks field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Google Tasks to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps title and notes to Google Tasks with unlimited orders. Pro adds task list selection. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which SureCart events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
