How to Send SliceWP Data to Xero

Xero is an accounting platform for managing finances. If you want SliceWP an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded synced to Xero, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

Connect Xero to AFI

Xero uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Xero, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SliceWP to Xero.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SliceWP as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Xero as the destination

Choose Xero from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Xero.

4. Map fields

Match each Xero field on the left to the corresponding SliceWP field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in SliceWP. Check Xero to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
