How to Send Restrict Content Pro Data to SharpSpring
SharpSpring is a marketing automation platform. Restrict Content Pro manages a member signs up or a payment completes, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to SharpSpring.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-membership fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Restrict Content Pro installed and configured.
- A SharpSpring account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect SharpSpring to AFI
- Log in to your SharpSpring account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Secret.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SharpSpring.
- Enter the API Key and Secret, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Restrict Content Pro to SharpSpring.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Restrict Content Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member signs up or a payment completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status.
3. Select SharpSpring as the destination
Choose SharpSpring from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates or updates a lead in SharpSpring.
4. Map fields
Match each SharpSpring field on the left to the corresponding Restrict Content Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Restrict Content Pro. Check SharpSpring to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to SharpSpring with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and campaign assignment. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Restrict Content Pro events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
