Omnisend is a platform platform. Restrict Content Pro handles a member signs up or a payment completes on your WordPress site. Omnisend is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Restrict Content Pro to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Restrict Content Pro installed and configured.
  • A Omnisend account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Omnisend to AFI

Omnisend uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Omnisend, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Restrict Content Pro to Omnisend.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Restrict Content Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member signs up or a payment completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status.

3. Select Omnisend as the destination

Choose Omnisend from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Omnisend.

4. Map fields

Match each Omnisend field on the left to the corresponding Restrict Content Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Restrict Content Pro. Check Omnisend to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Omnisend with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
