sevdesk is an accounting platform for managing finances. If you want RegistrationMagic registration synced to sevdesk, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting RegistrationMagic to accounting, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with RegistrationMagic installed and configured.
  • A sevdesk account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect sevdesk to AFI

sevdesk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → sevdesk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it RegistrationMagic to sevdesk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select RegistrationMagic as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form, giving you access to user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID.

3. Select sevdesk as the destination

Choose sevdesk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in sevdesk.

4. Map fields

Match each sevdesk field on the left to the corresponding RegistrationMagic field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, custom registration fields, and form ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in RegistrationMagic. Check sevdesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to sevdesk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which RegistrationMagic events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a user registers or submits a form. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
