How to Send Quill Forms Data to Vertical Response
Vertical Response is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Getting Quill Forms submission into Vertical Response does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

- A Vertical Response account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Vertical Response.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Quill Forms to Vertical Response.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Quill Forms as the form provider. AFI fires when a conversational form is completed, giving you access to respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers.
3. Select Vertical Response as the destination
Choose Vertical Response from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to a Vertical Response list.
4. Map fields
Match each Vertical Response field on the left to the corresponding Quill Forms field on the right. Common mappings include respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Quill Forms. Check Vertical Response to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Vertical Response with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Quill Forms events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
