How to Send Paid Memberships Pro Data to Planhat

Planhat is a customer success platform. Every Paid Memberships Pro membership record should flow into Planhat automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

Connect Planhat to AFI

1. Log in to your Planhat account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Planhat.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Paid Memberships Pro to Planhat.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Paid Memberships Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID.

3. Select Planhat as the destination

Choose Planhat from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Planhat.

4. Map fields

Match each Planhat field on the left to the corresponding Paid Memberships Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Paid Memberships Pro. Check Planhat to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
