How to Send Paid Memberships Pro Data to Moneybird
Moneybird is an invoicing and accounting platform for managing finances. Every Paid Memberships Pro membership record should flow into Moneybird automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to invoicing and accounting. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Paid Memberships Pro installed and configured.
- A Moneybird account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Moneybird to AFI
- Log in to your Moneybird account.
- Go to Settings → API and create an API token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Moneybird.
- Enter the Administration ID and API token, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Paid Memberships Pro to Moneybird.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Paid Memberships Pro as the form provider. AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID.
3. Select Moneybird as the destination
Choose Moneybird from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Moneybird.
4. Map fields
Match each Moneybird field on the left to the corresponding Paid Memberships Pro field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, payment amount, and order ID. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Paid Memberships Pro. Check Moneybird to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and address to Moneybird with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and invoice creation. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Paid Memberships Pro events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member checks out or a membership level changes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
