Overview

By utilizing the Advanced Form Integration plugin, you can seamlessly link Ninja Forms with Constant Contact. Once a user submits a form on your website, the plugin will transmit the relevant data to your Constant Contact account and generate a new contact.

Requirements

  • The feature requires a Pro license. BUY NOW!
  • Make sure that the Pro version of the Advanced Form Integration plugin is installed and activated. You should have got the links in the email after purchase. You can also download it anytime by logging into the user dashboard.
  • Read plugin documentation for Ninja Forms and Constant Contact. It is not required but helpful for a better understanding.

Set up Constant Contact API Connection

Before starting, you are required to set up the Constant Contact API connection in plugin settings.

  1. Go to the WordPress admin area, and click AFI > Settings.
  2. Turn on Constant Contact and save. Open the Constant Contact tab.
  3. Go to Constant Contact Developer Portal.
  4. Create an application, and insert a suitable name.
  5. Select ‘Authorization Code Flow and Implicit Flow’.
  6. Select ‘Rotating Refresh Tokens’ and click Create.
  7. Edit the newly created app, Copy the URL from below, and paste it into the Redirect URI input box.
  8. Generate the API secret, then copy both the API key and secret from the app and paste them below.
  9. Save the Application.
  10. Click on the Authorize button.

Create New Integration

Once the API connection is done you can start creating new integration. Click on Add New under the AFI menu, New Integration page will appear.

Title

A default title will be auto-generated with an auto incremental number. You can rename it to something related to the task. It will help you to quickly recognize the correct one when there is multiple integrations setup.

Trigger

Select Ninja Forms in the Form Provider dropdown. The Ninja Forms plugin must be installed and activated otherwise you won’t see it list

Action

Select Constant Contact PRO in Platform dropdown.

Map Fields

The Map Fields section will appear where you’ll be able to determine which fields to send. Map Email, First Name, Last Name, etc. fields with similar fields in the sender platform. Finally, click the Save Integration button.
