How to Send Ninja Forms Submissions to QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online is an accounting platform for managing finances. Every Ninja Forms submission should flow into QuickBooks Online without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

Connect QuickBooks Online to AFI

QuickBooks Online uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → QuickBooks Online, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ninja Forms to QuickBooks Online.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ninja Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select QuickBooks Online as the destination

Choose QuickBooks Online from the platform dropdown and pick Create Customer. This creates a customer in QuickBooks Online.

4. Map fields

Match each QuickBooks Online field on the left to the corresponding Ninja Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Ninja form and submit. Check QuickBooks Online to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
