How to Send Ninja Forms Submissions to Planning Center

Planning Center is a church management platform. Every Ninja Forms submission should flow into Planning Center without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Ninja Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Planning Center account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Planning Center to AFI

Planning Center uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Planning Center, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ninja Forms to Planning Center.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ninja Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Planning Center as the destination

Choose Planning Center from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Planning Center.

4. Map fields

Match each Planning Center field on the left to the corresponding Ninja Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Ninja form and submit. Check Planning Center to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
