How to Send Ninja Forms Submissions to Flodesk

Flodesk is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Ninja Forms makes it easy to build forms, but sending data to external platforms requires an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Flodesk. Here is the full setup.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Ninja Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Flodesk account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Flodesk to AFI

1. Log in to your Flodesk account.
2. Go to Settings → Integrations → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Flodesk.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ninja Forms to Flodesk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ninja Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Flodesk as the destination

Choose Flodesk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to a Flodesk segment.

4. Map fields

Match each Flodesk field on the left to the corresponding Ninja Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Ninja form and submit. Check Flodesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
