How to Send MemberPress Data to QuickBooks Online

Connect QuickBooks Online to AFI

QuickBooks Online uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → QuickBooks Online, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it MemberPress to QuickBooks Online.

2. Pick your trigger

Select MemberPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status.

3. Select QuickBooks Online as the destination

Choose QuickBooks Online from the platform dropdown and pick Create Customer. This creates a customer in QuickBooks Online.

4. Map fields

Match each QuickBooks Online field on the left to the corresponding MemberPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in MemberPress. Check QuickBooks Online to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
