How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to mailchef

mailchef is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. LifterLMS handles a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership on your WordPress site. mailchef is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

What you will need

Connect mailchef to AFI

mailchef uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → mailchef, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to mailchef.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select mailchef as the destination

Choose mailchef from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to mailchef.

4. Map fields

Match each mailchef field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check mailchef to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
