How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to dotdigital

dotdigital is a marketing automation platform. LifterLMS handles a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership on your WordPress site. dotdigital is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.

Connect dotdigital to AFI

1. Log in to your dotdigital account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API User and Password.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → dotdigital.
4. Enter the credentials and region, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to dotdigital.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select dotdigital as the destination

Choose dotdigital from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to dotdigital.

4. Map fields

Match each dotdigital field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check dotdigital to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
