Deputy is a workforce management platform. Getting LifterLMS enrollment data into Deputy does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

The direct approach

AFI delivers enrollment and course data straight from WordPress to Deputy. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
  • A Deputy account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Deputy to AFI

Deputy uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Deputy, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Deputy.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Deputy as the destination

Choose Deputy from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee in Deputy.

4. Map fields

Match each Deputy field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Deputy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, and phone to Deputy with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which LifterLMS events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.

Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
