How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Copper CRM
Copper CRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Getting LifterLMS enrollment data into Copper CRM does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to CRM. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
- A Copper CRM account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Copper CRM to AFI
- Log in to your Copper CRM account.
- Go to Settings → Integrations → API Keys and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Copper.
- Enter your email and API Key, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Copper CRM.
2. Pick your trigger
Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.
3. Select Copper CRM as the destination
Choose Copper CRM from the platform dropdown and pick Create Person. This creates a person in Copper CRM.
4. Map fields
Match each Copper CRM field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Copper CRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Copper CRM with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which LifterLMS events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.
Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
