How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Constant Contact

Constant Contact is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. LifterLMS manages a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Constant Contact.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.

Connect Constant Contact to AFI

Constant Contact uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Constant Contact, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Constant Contact.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Constant Contact as the destination

Choose Constant Contact from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Constant Contact.

4. Map fields

Match each Constant Contact field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Constant Contact to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
