How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Campayn

Campayn is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. LifterLMS handles a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership on your WordPress site. Campayn is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-enrollment fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
• A Campayn account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Campayn to AFI

1. Log in to your Campayn account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Campayn.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Campayn.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Campayn as the destination

Choose Campayn from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to a Campayn list.

4. Map fields

Match each Campayn field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Campayn to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
