How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Bigin by Zoho
Bigin by Zoho is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Here is how to pipe LifterLMS data straight into Bigin by Zoho using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
The direct approach
AFI delivers enrollment and course data straight from WordPress to Bigin by Zoho. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
- A Bigin by Zoho account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Bigin by Zoho to AFI
Bigin by Zoho uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Bigin by Zoho, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Bigin by Zoho.
2. Pick your trigger
Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.
3. Select Bigin by Zoho as the destination
Choose Bigin by Zoho from the platform dropdown and pick Create Record. This creates a record in Bigin.
4. Map fields
Match each Bigin by Zoho field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Bigin by Zoho to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Bigin by Zoho with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which LifterLMS events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.
Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
