How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Mailcoach

Mailcoach is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every LearnDash enrollment should flow into Mailcoach automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
• A Mailcoach account.

Connect Mailcoach to AFI

1. Log in to your Mailcoach account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailcoach.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Mailcoach.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Mailcoach as the destination

Choose Mailcoach from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to a Mailcoach list.

4. Map fields

Match each Mailcoach field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Mailcoach to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
