How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Fortnox

Fortnox is an accounting platform for managing finances. Here is how to pipe LearnDash data straight into Fortnox using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
• A Fortnox account.

Connect Fortnox to AFI

Fortnox uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Fortnox, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Fortnox.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Fortnox as the destination

Choose Fortnox from the platform dropdown and pick Add Customer. This creates a customer in Fortnox.

4. Map fields

Match each Fortnox field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Fortnox to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
