How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Dynamics 365 Marketing

Dynamics 365 Marketing is a marketing automation platform. If you want LearnDash data in Dynamics 365 Marketing, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

Connect Dynamics 365 Marketing to AFI

Dynamics 365 Marketing uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Marketing, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Dynamics 365 Marketing.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Dynamics 365 Marketing as the destination

Choose Dynamics 365 Marketing from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Dynamics 365 Marketing.

4. Map fields

Match each Dynamics 365 Marketing field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Dynamics 365 Marketing to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
