How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to e-conomic

e-conomic is an accounting platform for managing finances. Happy Forms lets you create powerful forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to e-conomic.

For connecting your forms to accounting, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Happy Forms installed and at least one form.
• A e-conomic account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect e-conomic to AFI

e-conomic uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → e-conomic, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to e-conomic.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select e-conomic as the destination

Choose e-conomic from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in e-conomic.

4. Map fields

Match each e-conomic field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check e-conomic to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
