How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to Campayn

Campayn is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Happy Forms makes it easy to build WordPress forms. Happy Forms is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting your forms to email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Happy Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Campayn account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Campayn to AFI

1. Log in to your Campayn account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Campayn.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to Campayn.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Campayn as the destination

Choose Campayn from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to a Campayn list.

4. Map fields

Match each Campayn field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check Campayn to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
