How to Send Gravity Forms Submissions to Eventin

Eventin is a event management platform. Gravity Forms captures data beautifully but does not push it to external platforms by default. AFI bridges that gap to Eventin. Here is the full setup.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Gravity Forms to event management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Gravity Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Eventin account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Eventin to AFI

Eventin uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Eventin, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Gravity Forms to Eventin.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Gravity Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Eventin as the destination

Choose Eventin from the platform dropdown and pick Add Attendee. This registers an attendee in Eventin.

4. Map fields

Match each Eventin field on the left to the corresponding Gravity Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Gravity form and submit. Check Eventin to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Do I need coding skills?
