How to Send GiveWP Data to SharpSpring

What you will need

Connect SharpSpring to AFI

1. Log in to your SharpSpring account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Secret.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SharpSpring.
4. Enter the API Key and Secret, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it GiveWP to SharpSpring.

2. Pick your trigger

Select GiveWP as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method.

3. Select SharpSpring as the destination

Choose SharpSpring from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates or updates a lead in SharpSpring.

4. Map fields

Match each SharpSpring field on the left to the corresponding GiveWP field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in GiveWP. Check SharpSpring to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
