How to Send GiveWP Data to Maropost

Maropost is a marketing automation platform. Here is how to pipe GiveWP donation straight into Maropost using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Connect Maropost to AFI

1. Log in to your Maropost account.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it GiveWP to Maropost.

2. Pick your trigger

3. Select Maropost as the destination

Choose Maropost from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Maropost.

4. Map fields

Match each Maropost field on the left to the corresponding GiveWP field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in GiveWP. Check Maropost to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
