How to Send GiveWP Data to Mailify

Mailify is a email and SMS marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every GiveWP donation record should flow into Mailify automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with GiveWP installed and configured.
• A Mailify account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Mailify to AFI

1. Log in to your Mailify account.
2. Copy your Account Number and API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailify.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it GiveWP to Mailify.

2. Pick your trigger

Select GiveWP as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method.

3. Select Mailify as the destination

Choose Mailify from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Mailify.

4. Map fields

Match each Mailify field on the left to the corresponding GiveWP field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, form ID, and payment method. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in GiveWP. Check Mailify to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
