How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Zoho People

Zoho People is a HR platform. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zoho People.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting FormCraft to HR, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Zoho People account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho People to AFI

Zoho People uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho People, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Zoho People.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Zoho People as the destination

Choose Zoho People from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee record in Zoho People.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho People field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Zoho People to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
