How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Todoist

Todoist is a task management platform. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Todoist without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Todoist account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Todoist to AFI

Todoist uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Todoist, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Todoist.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Todoist as the destination

Choose Todoist from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Todoist.

4. Map fields

Match each Todoist field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Todoist to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
