How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Shape Software

Shape Software is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Shape Software.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Shape Software account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Shape Software to AFI

1. Log in to your Shape Software account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Shape Software.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Shape Software.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Shape Software as the destination

Choose Shape Software from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Shape Software.

4. Map fields

Match each Shape Software field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Shape Software to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
