How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Podio

Podio is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Podio without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to Podio. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Podio account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Podio to AFI

Podio uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Podio, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Podio.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Podio as the destination

Choose Podio from the platform dropdown and pick Add Item. This creates an item in a Podio app.

4. Map fields

Match each Podio field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Podio to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
