How to Send FormCraft Submissions to MailUp

MailUp is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to MailUp.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting FormCraft to email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A MailUp account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect MailUp to AFI

MailUp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → MailUp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to MailUp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select MailUp as the destination

Choose MailUp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to MailUp.

4. Map fields

Match each MailUp field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check MailUp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
