How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Discord

Discord is a messaging platform. Form submissions can trigger instant notifications. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Discord without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Discord account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Discord to AFI

Discord uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Discord, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Discord.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Discord as the destination

Choose Discord from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Discord channel.

4. Map fields

Match each Discord field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Discord to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
