How to Send FluentCRM Data to WhatsApp

Connect WhatsApp to AFI

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCRM to WhatsApp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCRM as the form provider. AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, giving you access to contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values.

3. Select WhatsApp as the destination

Choose WhatsApp from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a WhatsApp message via the Business API.

4. Map fields

Match each WhatsApp field on the left to the corresponding FluentCRM field on the right. Common mappings include contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in FluentCRM. Check WhatsApp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
