Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Every FluentCRM contact record should flow into Teamwork automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to project management. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with FluentCRM installed and configured.
  • A Teamwork account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Teamwork to AFI

Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCRM to Teamwork.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCRM as the form provider. AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, giving you access to contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values.

3. Select Teamwork as the destination

Choose Teamwork from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.

4. Map fields

Match each Teamwork field on the left to the corresponding FluentCRM field on the right. Common mappings include contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in FluentCRM. Check Teamwork to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and description to Teamwork with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which FluentCRM events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
