How to Send FluentCRM Data to Pardot
Pardot is a marketing automation platform. FluentCRM handles a contact submits a form or a tag is applied on your WordPress site. Pardot is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-contact fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCRM installed and configured.
- A Pardot account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Pardot to AFI
Pardot uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Pardot, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCRM to Pardot.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCRM as the form provider. AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, giving you access to contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values.
3. Select Pardot as the destination
Choose Pardot from the platform dropdown and pick Create Prospect. This creates a prospect in Pardot.
4. Map fields
Match each Pardot field on the left to the corresponding FluentCRM field on the right. Common mappings include contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in FluentCRM. Check Pardot to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Pardot with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
