Zoho Books is an accounting platform for managing finances. FluentCart handles an order is placed on your WordPress site. Zoho Books is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-order fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
  • A Zoho Books account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho Books to AFI

Zoho Books uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Books, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Zoho Books.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Zoho Books as the destination

Choose Zoho Books from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Zoho Books.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Books field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Zoho Books to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, and phone to Zoho Books with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
