How to Send FluentCart Orders to MailUp
MailUp is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every FluentCart order should flow into MailUp automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to MailUp. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A MailUp account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect MailUp to AFI
MailUp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → MailUp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to MailUp.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select MailUp as the destination
Choose MailUp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to MailUp.
4. Map fields
Match each MailUp field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check MailUp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to MailUp with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
