How to Send FluentCart Orders to Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is a analytics platform. Here is how to pipe FluentCart order data straight into Google Analytics 4 using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing order data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to analytics. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A Google Analytics 4 account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Google Analytics 4 to AFI
- Get your GA4 Measurement ID and API Secret from your GA4 property.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → GA4.
- Enter the Measurement ID and API Secret.
- Click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Google Analytics 4.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Google Analytics 4 as the destination
Choose Google Analytics 4 from the platform dropdown and pick Send Event. This sends an event to Google Analytics 4.
4. Map fields
Match each Google Analytics 4 field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Google Analytics 4 to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps event name and parameters to Google Analytics 4 with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom parameter mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
