Freshdesk is a helpdesk platform. If you want FluentCart orders synced to Freshdesk, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting helpdesk, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
  • A Freshdesk account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Freshdesk to AFI

  1. Log in to your Freshdesk account.
  2. Go to Profile → API and copy your API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Freshdesk.
  4. Enter your domain and API Key, then click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Freshdesk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Freshdesk as the destination

Choose Freshdesk from the platform dropdown and pick Create Ticket. This creates a support ticket in Freshdesk.

4. Map fields

Match each Freshdesk field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Freshdesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps subject, description, email, and name to Freshdesk with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and priority settings. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
