How to Send FluentCart Orders to Flamingo
Flamingo is a WordPress platform. FluentCart handles an order is placed on your WordPress site. Flamingo is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting WordPress, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A Flamingo account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Flamingo to AFI
Flamingo uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Flamingo, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Flamingo.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Flamingo as the destination
Choose Flamingo from the platform dropdown and pick Save Message. This saves a form submission in Flamingo.
4. Map fields
Match each Flamingo field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Flamingo to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
