How to Send FluentCart Orders to Elasticemail
Elasticemail is a platform platform. Here is how to pipe FluentCart order data straight into Elasticemail using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Elasticemail. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A Elasticemail account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Elasticemail to AFI
Elasticemail uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Elasticemail, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Elasticemail.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Elasticemail as the destination
Choose Elasticemail from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Elasticemail.
4. Map fields
Match each Elasticemail field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Elasticemail to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and email to Elasticemail with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
