How to Send FluentCart Orders to CiviCRM

CiviCRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every FluentCart order should flow into CiviCRM automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

Connect CiviCRM to AFI

CiviCRM uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → CiviCRM, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to CiviCRM.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select CiviCRM as the destination

Choose CiviCRM from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in CiviCRM.

4. Map fields

Match each CiviCRM field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check CiviCRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
