Braze is a marketing automation platform. FluentCart processes an order is placed beautifully, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Braze.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-order fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
  • A Braze account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Braze to AFI

  1. Log in to your Braze dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → API Keys and copy your API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Braze.
  4. Enter the API Key and REST endpoint, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Braze.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Braze as the destination

Choose Braze from the platform dropdown and pick Add User. This creates or updates a user in Braze.

4. Map fields

Match each Braze field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Braze to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email and name to Braze with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom attributes and events. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
