How to Send Fluent Forms Submissions to Googlesheets

Googlesheets is a platform platform. If you want Fluent Forms submissions in Googlesheets, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

Connect Googlesheets to AFI

Googlesheets uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Googlesheets, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Forms to Googlesheets.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Googlesheets as the destination

Choose Googlesheets from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Googlesheets.

4. Map fields

Match each Googlesheets field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Fluent form and submit. Check Googlesheets to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
